Zealandiaensis Tube-dwelling Anemone [Ceriantheopsis zealandiaensis]
Description
In suitable coastal or shelf habitats, divers can come across this anemone as a tube anchored in sediment with a crown of tentacles rising above the bottom. With patience, you may see it sway with the current as it captures passing particles, then retract to its tube when conditions or nearby activity change.
