Humpback Nylon Shrimp [Heterocarpus gibbosus]
Description
As its name suggests, this shrimp often appears slightly hunched, giving it a “humpback” silhouette as it moves along the bottom. Divers may see it foraging near sandy patches or among fine sediment, where its subtle coloration helps it blend in until it suddenly darts away.
