Periclimenes infraspinis [Periclimenes infraspinis]
Description
This reef-associated shrimp is usually seen as a small, slender figure blending into the background of corals and rocky surfaces. Divers may spot it near the bases of corals or around sheltered reef crevices, where it can remain partially hidden. If you slow down and look carefully, you’ll often catch it moving in short bursts between safe spots.
