Antipathes shrimp [Periclimenes antipathophilus]
Description
Divers may spot this small shrimp living in close association with black corals (Antipathes). It often stays tucked into the coral’s branching structure, where it can be surprisingly visible when the polyps sway in the current. Look for a delicate, shrimp-like silhouette moving carefully along the coral branches.
