Japanese Mitten Lobster [Parribacus japonicus]
Description
Often found in rocky habitats, this mitten lobster tends to stay close to shelter, emerging just enough to forage. Divers can sometimes see it slowly moving along the bottom, with its large, mitten-like claws held ready as it inspects the substrate for food.
