Cryptophialus lanceolatus [Cryptophialus lanceolatus]
Description
Divers may spot this small, delicate hydroid-like animal as a tiny, upright tuft or branching form attached to hard substrate. It’s often easy to miss at first glance, but under good light it can reveal a neat, lance-shaped look among the surrounding marine growth.
