Whale Shark [Rhincodon]
Description
Whale sharks are the ocean’s gentle giants, and divers are often amazed by their massive size and slow, steady swimming. In clear water, you may see them cruising near the surface or midwater, sometimes with divers spotting their distinctive patterning and filter-feeding behavior.
