Description

Sperm whales (Physeter) are deep-diving giants, and divers are more likely to encounter them from the surface or at the edge of their dive cycle. If conditions align, you may see a dramatic blow and then a slow, heavy descent as the whale disappears, leaving a sense of scale and mystery underwater.
