Mole Coral [Polyphyllia]

Description

Polyphyllia mole corals are recognizable by their thick, rounded mounds and the maze-like pattern of their valleys. On a dive, you may spot small reef fish and invertebrates using the crevices for shelter around the coral’s textured surface.
