Culcita [Culcita]
Description
Culcita starfish have a distinctive, chunky body shape with a “cushion-like” look compared to many other starfish. Divers may see them tucked into crevices or resting on reef flats, where their rough texture and muted tones help them blend in. They’re often spotted during calm dives when visibility is good and you can take a closer look at the seafloor.
