Artichoke Coral [Scolymia]
Description
Scolymia artichoke coral gets its name from the layered, artichoke-like look of its fleshy ridges. Divers commonly see it as a bold, dome-shaped centerpiece, and the polyps can appear as small openings along the ridges.
