Rhabditophoran Flatworms
Rhabditophora
Description
Rhabditophoran flatworms are small, soft-bodied invertebrates that divers may find on rocks, coral rubble, or among seaweed and seagrass. Many are vividly colored and can look like tiny slugs or worms, often staying close to the substrate as they graze or hunt. They’re easy to overlook, but with a careful look they can be surprisingly beautiful and diverse.
