Yellow Tree Coral [Dendrophyllia cornigera]

Yellow Tree Coral
Description

Divers often spot this coral as branching, tree-like growths that can glow in warm yellow tones. In clear water, the branches look sturdy and textured, and the polyps may be visible as small bumps along the surfaces. It’s a great example of how reef builders can form “mini forests” for small reef life.
