Variable Breadcrumb Sponge [Haliclona cinerea]
Description
A very common encrusting sponge, widespread and abundant on all coasts. It's named for its appearance that resembles a breadcrumb. It's found in a variety of habitats, including rock, pebbles, and shells, down to depths of 50 meters.
