Unicristata Caryophyllia [Caryophyllia (Acanthocyathus) unicristata]
Description
This coral often appears as a compact, branching or mound-like structure with distinct corallites that give it a sculpted look. Underwater, divers may notice its fine texture and the way it forms small “islands” of habitat on hard surfaces.
