Thin Tusk Shell [Fissidentalium tenuis]
Description
Fissidentalium tenuis, or the Thin Tusk Shell, is a marine species found in the deep sea. They have a thin shell that is slightly curved and tapers to a point at both ends. The surface of the shell is smooth and shiny. Their diet consists mainly of tiny organisms within the seafloor sediment.
