Description
Syllidia armata, commonly known as the Syllidian Worm, is a marine polychaete worm that lives in subtidal and intertidal zones. This species is characterized by its elongated, segmented body with a pair of parapodia on each segment. Each parapodium has a set of bristles, or chaetae, which the worm uses for locomotion. The Syllidian Worm is a detritivore, feeding on organic particles in the sediment.
