Description
The Swiftia sea fan polyp, Parazoanthus swiftii, is a species of marine invertebrate found in the Atlantic Ocean. They typically attach to gorgonians, specifically the sea fan swiftia, and can vary in color from bright yellow to brown. They feed by extending their tentacles into the water to catch plankton and other small particles. They are primarily found in deep waters.
