Subtropical Lanternfish [Electrona subaspera]
Description
The Subtropical Lanternfish is a species found in the subtropical waters of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. They have a bluish-black coloration and a serrated dorsal fin. Like other lanternfish, they migrate vertically each day, spending their days in deep water and their nights closer to the surface.
