Description
Clithon sowerbyana, known as the Striped Nerite, is a small freshwater snail with a distinctive striped shell. The shell is usually yellowish or greenish with brown or black stripes. This species prefers slow-moving or stagnant freshwater habitats where it grazes on algae. It is native to Southeast Asia and is popular in the aquarium trade.
