Striate Finger Coral [Madracis myriaster]
Description
Striate Finger Coral gets its name from the fine, lined texture running along its finger-like branches. Underwater, divers may notice the coral’s ridges catching light and creating a striped look, especially when viewed from the side. It typically forms small colonies that add structure to the reef, often tucked among other hard corals and sponges.
