Starry Cup Coral [Acanthastrea subechinata]
Description
This species forms small, tightly packed cups that stand out on rocky reef slopes. With polyps extended, the surface can appear more detailed and “fuzzy,” and divers may notice subtle color variations that make it blend beautifully with surrounding corals.
