Starflower Coral [Astreopora lambertsi]
Description
Astreopora lambertsi forms attractive, star-like clusters that can resemble a field of tiny flowers across the reef. Divers may notice the coral’s subtle ridges and the way its surface texture catches the light as you move. It’s a great species to photograph because its patterning often looks crisp even from a short distance.
