Description
Stelligera stuposa, known as the stalked sea cucumber, is a marine species in the family Stichopodidae. It features a unique stalk-like body, up to 50 cm in length, with a crown of tentacles at its top end used for feeding. This species is found in the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific, preferring rocky or coral-rich habitats at depths of 10 to 50 meters. It is a suspension feeder, capturing plankton and other small particles from the water column.
