Description
The Spectacular Lightfish or Valenciennellus tripunctulatus is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Phosichthyidae. They are found in the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Ocean. They are characterized by three photophores, light-emitting organs, on their underside.
