Southern Reef Squid [Sepioteuthis australis]

Southern Reef Squid
Description

Southern reef squid are streamlined swimmers that can be seen cruising over reefs and sandy patches, often in small groups. Divers may spot their quick, coordinated movements and subtle color shifts, and—if startled—they can dart away in a flash using powerful jet propulsion.
