Solmaris leucostyla [Solmaris leucostyla]
Description
This species can appear as a small, pale or whitish, soft-bodied colonial organism attached to the seafloor or to rocky surfaces. Underwater, divers often notice it by its subtle contrast against the substrate and its delicate, current-driven movement. With patience, you may see tiny feeding structures extend and retract as water flow brings food within reach.
