Smooth Seadevil [Linophryne arborifera]
Description
This species is a type of anglerfish found in the bathypelagic zone of the ocean, at depths between 1000 and 4000 meters. It is characterized by a dark color, a lure on its head used to attract prey, and two large fangs. The smooth seadevil has a flabby body and long, whip-like pectoral and pelvic fins. Females are significantly larger than males.
