Smooth file shell [Limea strigilata]
Description
The Smooth file shell, or Limea strigilata, is a marine bivalve mollusk with a thin, smooth, and somewhat transparent shell. It can grow up to 20 mm in length. The shell is typically white but can have a yellow or brown tint. This species is native to the Northeast Atlantic, from Norway to the British Isles, and prefers to live in deep waters.
