Smooth Auger [Terebra subulata]
Description
The Smooth Auger is found in the Western Pacific region. It has a long, slender, smooth shell and a sharply pointed apex. It inhabits sandy or muddy substrates, often burrowing during the day and becoming active at night. Its diet consists of small marine invertebrates.
