Smalleye Hammerhead [Sphyrna couardi]

Description

This hammerhead is known for its smaller eyes and streamlined look, which divers may notice as it passes through reef edges or sandy patches. When it swims, it often does so steadily and low in the water column, making it easier to track as it cruises by.
