Small Flounder [Synaptura lusitanica]
Description
This species is found in the Eastern Atlantic, specifically from Portugal to Angola. They prefer sandy or muddy bottoms down to about 50 meters depth. It is a benthic species, spending most of its time on the seafloor. It is characterized by a flat body and both eyes on the right side of the head.
