Sepia aureomaculata [Sepia aureomaculata]
Description
This cuttlefish is often recognizable by its striking spotting and warm-toned patterning, which can stand out against sand and seagrass. Divers may see it stalking small animals along the bottom, then suddenly accelerating with a powerful jet as it changes from calm hovering to quick escape.
