Scaly Wentletrap [Epitonium lamellosum]
Description
The Scaly Wentletrap is a small marine snail with a very ornate, white shell. It can reach up to 45 mm in size. The shell has a high spire and numerous axial ribs. It lives in the Western Atlantic region, usually on sandy substrates where it feeds on sea anemones.
