Scalloped Hammerhead [Sphyrna lewini]
Description
Scalloped hammerheads are famous for their broad, scalloped-shaped heads and wide-set eyes that help them scan for food. Divers may see them cruising in schools or passing close to reefs, often with a smooth, coordinated movement that feels almost “guided” by the current.
