Description
The Robust Flathead, known scientifically as Onigocia robusta, is a species that resides in the Western Indian Ocean, specifically in the areas around Mozambique. They are bottom-dwelling fishes that inhabit sandy or muddy substrates in depths between 40 to 230 meters. They are distinguished by their robust bodies and a unique pattern of dark blotches and spots. Their diet consists mainly of small fishes and invertebrates.
