Reticulated Batfish [Halieutichthys reticulatus]
Description
The reticulated batfish is native to the western Atlantic Ocean. It is a bottom-dwelling fish that prefers muddy or sandy sea floors. It uses its pectoral fins to 'walk' on the ocean floor. It has a flat body with a reticulated pattern and can grow up to 30 cm in length.
