Psammocora digitata [Psammocora digitata]
Description
Divers may notice this coral as a low, encrusting or mound-forming species with finger-like or branching projections. In clear water, its textured surface can look like small, clustered “digits” rising from the substrate. It’s a subtle but distinctive coral that adds texture to reef slopes and rubble areas.
