Pore Coral [Montipora informis]
Description
Montipora informis can appear as small, rounded or plate-like patches with a clearly porous, “pitted” surface. In clear water, divers may see the pores create tiny shadows and highlights, making the coral look almost sculpted—especially when you approach slowly and keep your buoyancy steady.
