Pore Coral [Montipora hemispherica]
Description
Montipora hemispherica is a favorite for divers who like to hunt for dome-shaped coral forms. You’ll often see it as rounded mounds with a porous, honeycombed texture on top, giving it a distinctive “bubble” look. When the sun hits from above, the pores and ridges create a shimmering effect that makes it pop in photos.
