Pore Coral [Montipora angulata]
Description
Montipora angulata grows in angular, plate-like shapes that can form sharp-edged patches across the reef. Divers may notice the coral’s porous surface and the way it catches light, creating a delicate, dappled appearance. Because it’s relatively compact and textured, it’s a favorite for macro photography and for spotting the fine details of reef architecture.
