Porcelain Cowrie [Septaria porcellus]
Description
The Porcelain Cowrie is another species of sea snail. It has a porcelain-like glossy shell that is white to yellowish in color with dark spots. The shell can reach a size of about 65 mm. This species is found in the Western Pacific region, particularly in coral reefs. It is a nocturnal species and feeds on algae and detritus.
