Plum-pudding Rainbow Dorid [Chromodoris pruna]
Description
This dorid nudibranch is a colorful showstopper, often displaying rich purple tones with contrasting spots and a “rainbow” look that stands out against the seafloor. Divers may spot it slowly gliding over rocks and algae-covered substrates, where it blends just enough to be easy to miss until you notice the vivid pattern.
