Phyllidia haegeli [Phyllidia haegeli]
Description
Divers may spot Phyllidia haegeli on reef surfaces and rocky areas, especially where sponge growth is common. This nudibranch’s striking appearance and gentle, unhurried movement make it a memorable find during a dive. As with other Phyllidia species, it’s best seen by slow searching and careful observation rather than rushing past the substrate.
