Parazoanthus antarcticus [Parazoanthus antarcticus]
Description
In colder southern waters, divers may encounter this species as compact colonies attached to rocks or other hard substrates. Even in chilly conditions, the polyps can be seen extending slightly between swells, adding bright, living detail to otherwise rugged habitats.
