Pantechnicon Dorid [Ceratosoma palliolatum]
Description
Ceratosoma palliolatum is a visually interesting dorid nudibranch that divers may encounter on reef slopes and rocky bottoms. Its body patterning and texture can look almost like part of the substrate, especially in low light or when viewed from the side. With patience, divers can watch it glide along the seafloor, often staying close to the habitats where its food sources grow.
