Pacific Snipe Eel [Avocettina bowersi]
Description
This species is found in the Pacific Ocean, from the Gulf of Alaska to the Gulf of California. It has a long, thin body and a small head with a pointed snout. The Pacific Snipe Eel is a deep-sea species, found at depths of 300 to 3000 meters. It feeds on small invertebrates.
