Orange Spider Conch [Lambis crocata]
Description
Divers often spot this striking conch by its bold orange tones and long, spidery shell shape. It tends to move slowly along sandy or rubble bottoms, using its muscular foot to search for food. When you get close, the shell’s dramatic, web-like ridges make it one of the more memorable “shell” encounters underwater.
