Description
The Opalescent Herring is a marine fish native to the eastern Pacific Ocean, from the Gulf of California to Baja California. It is a small, schooling fish, usually found in shallow, coastal waters. It is silvery in appearance, with a greenish-blue back and a distinctive, long dorsal fin ray. This species is a planktonic feeder.
