Octopus stictochrus [Octopus stictochrus]
Description
Divers searching rocky bottoms and reef edges may find this octopus resting close to the substrate, sometimes with only part of its body visible at first. When it feels safe, it can become more active—creeping along the bottom or extending an arm to probe the environment.
